We made it to Standley Cabin where there is a small spring. We crashed in the meadow on the porch, enjoying relaxing.
As it is the last known water for the next 8.5 miles, it seemed like the only option was to stay here for the night - which made for a longer afternoon. The mosquitoes were definitely present up on the ridge - though ubiquitous, they were not biting too much, thankfully.
