New Blinds!

 One of the perks of having your brother and sister-in-law own a blinds and window covering business is getting to put some nice blinds up on the front door.  Thanks, Jason, for the installation!

Departing Tioman

 Ferry adventures to and from Tioman are always an issue -with the 9 am ferry leaving ABC jetty at 8 am - so I caught the later ferry thankfully. What a breath of fresh air to get away, do some diving and feel like there are touches of holiday and vacation. 

Pizza at Sunset Point

 One of the highlights of Tioman is always the delicious pizzas at sunset point. Beautiful sights and good food.

Staying in Tioman

 One of the perks of travelling in the era of covid - at least this summer in Malaysia - is some extra availability.  I had a nice balcony and larger room due to availability for the few days I was in Tioman.  B&J Divers are always such a class operation. 

Biking Around Tioman

 

In the final full afternoon, took some time to rent a bicycle and bike around the island.  Bit of a heavy feeling, recognizing it was just a couple of days ago that the husband of a teacher had a freaky motorcycle accident on the island and passed away.  Take every day as a joyous gift.  It is truly beautiful.

The colors are always wonderful under the sea - and chances to enjoy some beautiful diving.

Labaos and Diving with Kevin

Labaos is one of the coolest dive sites - with so many swim throughs.  Super cool to be diving through all the tunnels, caves, up and around the rock formations.

Also, great to have such a great dive buddy - with Kevin Christensen.

The afternoon dive was closer to the island - with the buried treadmill to get to pretend like running on.
 

Tioman Memories

 

Fun to get to return to Tioman - including finding the swing that the girls really enjoyed when we were last here.  Beautiful sunsets, lush jungles and enjoying the beach areas.

Diving in Tioman

 

What a joy to be diving again and being under water.  Amazing while the world seems in a crazy place, the coral and the diving may be doing a bit of recovering - at least as long as ocean temperatures don't increase too much.  Some beautiful fish underwater.  - And Wonderful to arrive and find Kevin Christensen arriving the same day!

 While enjoying the summer in Malaysia, its off the island of Tioman, driving down to park and then take the ferry across.  It was a gold class (upstairs) seat that was the only available for this route.
