A Celebration!

Pretty great to get to celebrate the birthday of such a fabulous, incredible growing young woman!  Certainly, a strange, low-key birthday in the midst of the lockdown in Malaysia right now due to COVID-19.  And, well worth some cake, presents and time with family.

Looking out at a Changing World

 What a week!  It seems like as the masked singer turned into NBA cancellations and the sudden collapse of the world, we're now wondering what is next.  Looking out over the school - and the choir students going around singing a message of goodwill as we prepare for two weeks (or more?) out of school.

Baby!

 It was our night to get to give food to Praxia and Matt's beautiful new daughter, Olympia.  What a treat to get to hold a new baby - and to talk about the joys and challenges of parenthood with our neighbors around the corner.  Congratulations!

Closing Night

 With a split cast, Rania got to perform in two of the four performances.  It was a huge success - and congratulations to a talented actress.  After the show, we got pictures with everyone, including her co-stars, her stage daughter - and even members of her real family. 

 

Baseball Season

 

Fun to get to watch Reeve pitch as the team had a final game against some faculty.  It was a close game with lots of fun - especially the Mangelsdorf v Mangelsdorf rivalry.  What a great team, even if the season doesn't look like it will make it to IASAS.

Suessification Opening Night!

 So so proud of Rania, who is one of the leads in the Seussification of Romeo and Juliet.  She plays Juliet's mother and has some very funny lines.

 Tomorrow is the opening of The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet. For the dress rehearsal, they took some pictures of some key scenes and of the stars of the show.  What amazing costumes and so much fun. 

Congratulations, Seniors!

 The ISKL faculty parents hosted this month's senior celebration. Each month a different group of parents puts together something fun for the Class of 2020.  This is our turn - and kudos to others who put in so much of the work so we could show up and give them some greetings and congratulatory comments as we head to the final months

of the year.

 What an incredible office staff!  We enjoy the chances to celebrate each others' birthdays.  Today is Teepa's.  Happy Birthday!
