Snively, Frape, Varney Goodbye

With the school year coming to an end, a time to celebrate the amazing educators who have been part of our lives.  Dan and Ashley Varney are heading back to New York.  What a great part of the middle school has been Dan.  Jenny Snively and Pat Frape and family are off to their next adventures in Prague.  With cold weather destinations, Everette managed some only-edition ISKL stocking caps for the entire families.

Student-led Conferences

What a great celebration of Gabi's amazing year in Grade 7.  Such a delight to hear from Ms. Whiting, Ms. Keithley, Mr. Turner about her success in so many areas.  So proud!

Margaret Cheng's Farewell

Rania had the privilege of being one of the hosts for Margaret Cheng, the elementary assistant principal's farewell.  A tribute to someone who has spent many years at ISKL.

Gabi and the Grade 7-8 Choir was part of the year-end concert.  Beautiful music, as always. 

Bouwens Farwell

Sad to see the Bouwens leaving KL, though it has been a wonderful number (eight?) of years together with so many wonderful memories.  Thankfully, we know that our friendships are not bound by geography. 

End of Year Dinner Dance

The end of year Dinner Dance for faculty and staff is always a highlight.  Celebrating Janet's 35 years was a big highlight; we know the true boss of the middle school.

A great year of Girl Scouts comes to an end; what good times with friends and great experiences for Gabi.

Mother's Day

After church, we went to Taste of Honey in the Pavilion for Mother's Day.  The service and the experience was less than impressive.  But it is hard to be more impressive than celebrating the amazing mother that is Tracy Woodward!

Shand Goodbye

With the end of the school year, comes the difficult goodbyes and the chance to recognize those that have been a big part of our lives.  With the Shands returning to New Zealand, there was a goodbye event hosted in Damansara - and a fun chance to celebrate what they have meant to so many in our community.

Admin Council Meeting

Admin Council spent the day in a conference room.  Afterwards, a chance to get together and enjoy the view from teh top of the Trader's Hotel was a chance to unwind and enjoy a great view.
