Ourland, Original Opera

 At Newberg High School, Doug and his mom got to experience an original opera from Linfield College.  Ourland is an opera that is based on the story of some immigrants.  

Some impressive voices - and certainly an interesting experience. We weren't big fans of some of the stereotypical character depictions, like the hell-and-brimstone preacher or the abusive police officer.
