Bear Lake

We had a great time at Bear Lake, having a long, leisurely lunch.  We also included a VERY frigid swim, with the water coming straight off the snow melt.

Mark hiked up above the lake, seeing Upper Bear Lake and getting up to the ridge.  Pretty impressive!

 Just as we were leaving, we passed two trail runners who were putting in an insanely impressive day - having left from Boundary Campground, going up Miner Basin and making it all the way to Bear Lake by just after noon.  That is some impressive conditioning! They were heading over the pass into another basin.
