Mendenhall Glacier

 We started to get an idea of the shore excursions - and once the events were done, have a better idea of how much we liked our decisions.  

 Doug, Nancy, Tracy went to the Mendenhall Glacier - and then walked to Nugget Falls and enjoyed the visitors center.  

 Eli, Micah, Rania, and Gabi did the same tour - and went for a more ambitious hike that they finished in enough time.  

 Tasha opted for a guided hike - which did not give as much freedom - and was in the same general area. 

 It was quite a beautiful day - and though we only had a few hours at the glacier before the bus picked us up, it was a great day. 

Very cool to be able to get so close to the falls. 

It was easier to see the glacier from farther back.  The angle from Nugget Falls was pretty tight. 

This gives a better idea of the view.
