Juneau

 One of the cool things about the score excursions, we realized, is that many of them are much shorter than the time at shore. 

So a Marta, Micah, Rania and Gabi went up the cable car and did some hiking from the top of the mountain.  Mark did some epic hike up the mountain, as I recall. 

Doug, Tracy, and Nancy walked to the Juneau state capital (widely agreed to be the 50th most beautiful capital building) and through town. 

The 'less-than-scenic' capital building in Juneau.  Given the cliffs and the flood plain, there certainly isn't a lot of room for real estate expansion. 

Some cruise ships were certainly a lot bigger than ours!

Getting on and off the ship - we could come and go as we pleased, which made it nice to come back and get some good food before heading back out.
