Doug had lots of fun coaching Reeve and 7-8 other 2nd and 3rd graders. We had a great season learning how to pass, dribble, shoot, and even in one of the last sessions, practicing throw-ins (though the concept of keeping both feet on the ground can be a bit tricky). With kids running around on the field, having cheers before the game, and running through the tunnels at the end of each game, it was a fun season. 
Doug had to miss the very last session, when the trophy presentation occurred (amazing how everyone is a winner in 2nd/3rd grade, as the score is not officially kept!) due to his trip to Bangkok. Thanks to some friends, we did Reeve with his other coaches (a HS volunteer and another father). With three goals over three straight games and lots of time as goalie, Reeve had a great soccer season.

nice. he looks so proud! and i like how the coaches have uniforms too... that is awesome.
