On Friday night, Reeve spent the night at our neighbor's house down the street. He was so excited to go there, but when we picked him up in the morning and he immediately closed his eyes, put his thumb in his mouth, and fell asleep in the car, we knew something wasn't quite right.
Within a few minutes he started crying about how much his throat hurt, and he clearly had a fever. He also confessed, "Daddy, I didn't sleep at all." Apparently he was so enamored with our neighbor's cats (who slept in the same room) that he couldn't stay asleep long. After a bit of a nap, we made our way to the ER at the nearby hospital.
We were grateful for the relatively quick care, and since we were pretty sure that he had strep throat due to the white spots, we walked out with antibiotics. Unfortunately, Reeve got sick to his stomach soon after, but hopefully we're on the way back to health.
One of the (few) benefits to being sick in the Woodward household is a significant increase in TV consumption. Reeve's siblings get to enjoy this benefit (as displayed in the photo). In the meantime, we are praying for a quick recovery.

Gosh. That sounds like it would hurt. Too bad.
love, Marshall
Wow, Quick service? Great! It took us awhile, and we had to put up with some pretty pissed off people in the ER, you know us loud Americans!
Glad everything is ok.
