A New Year!

It was a bit funny watching the ball drop on CNN -- at 1 pm in the middle of the afternoon. As we were getting ready for a nice swim to cool off, we saw all the hats, coats and mittens from the revelers in North America.

But we are off to a good start of the new year. Doug's parents are heading to Cambodia for 4 days, and we have a list of things to get done before school starts up again on Monday. We might even get a bit of sightseeing in, but there is plenty to do.

We start the New Year incredibly blessed by the events of 2007 and excited to see the growth and changes of 2008.

Happy New Year from Finland! :)
It's so great to read about your adventures over there! How the kids have grown since I was in Indy... Enjoy your last few days off before the new term! (Our spring term starts on Monday too, so I'll be working this weekend...)

Happy New Year to you from Michiana.
Since I teach the I.U. dual credit course the first semester the intense paper load keeps me pressed for free time,I saw your original blog site posting in August and never got back to it until Christmas Break and was surprised to see a semesters worth of Woodward adventures. Glad that you are all doing well. We have had record snowfall and two cancellation days in December. At 4.5, Harry really was excited about Christmas. He is attending pre-school. Shelley had to make a visit to Melbourne Dec. 1-17 because of her dad's poor health. So Harry and I had to hold the fort with grandma's help. So we were glad to be together for Christmas. We plan to visit Australia June and July.
We wish you many blessings and appreciate the pics on the blog.
