Given that I grew up in one of the more famous wine-making regions of America, and had never been to a wine tasting, it seemed like a good afternoon activity to head into the Dundee hills and see if we could find a wine tasting opportunity. Given our general lack of knowledge in the entire area, it was a bit of a comical attempt at figuring out where we might stop and how the whole process worked. Not sure we are any wiser, but did have a nice view with a chance to sip a couple of different wines before buying the cheapest Bottle to offset the costs of the sample wines - or at least that was how we saw it.
