Based on Grandpa Barrie's suggestion, we made the drive a bit upriver on the Maumee River to Grand Rapids, Ohio, the nice little town on highway 24 just past the dam. There was a nice walk along the river, some fun times with cousins, and beautiful weather. Rania, who is addicted to cartwheels (remnants of last year's addiction to boom-snap-clap), used the wide open spaces to do a number of cartwheels all day. How great to have the cousins here and having fun times together with the Woodwards from Silver Spring.
