After our second dive (Meditation Wall), we hung out on the beautiful beach. The island is only home to a Malaysian Army base, where the army is working to provide protection to tourists (and locals) as a result of recent incursions by rebels coming from the Philippines.

During lunch on the beach, a highlight was one of the divemasters, Kai, who had the nickname of Mowgli from the Jungle Book, scaling a coconut tree. We had as much pure coconut juice as we could handle. Amazing!
