Reeve's class got together for a fun social gathering at the Pavilion mall. Thanks to the organization of some of the room parents, we had three rows of seats for the movie, Diary of a Wimpy Kids. Parents were strategically situated behind the kids, and we found the movie much more enjoyable than some of the adults might have feared. As much of the action takes place in middle school, Doug found it especially hilarious. Gabi and Rania also got to enjoy the action.
After the movie, we took advantage of a chance to visit Tony Romos where the kids meal had a special dessert at the end. My, oh my, did the kids like the worm in the chocolate pudding -- though I think Rania wasn't sure if it was a real worm or a gummy worm for a while. I guess our kids aren't so educated in candy gummy worms -- which isn't a bad thing!
