Cedar Point

FRIDAY, JULY 3, 2009

We had a fun, long day with Jason and Niki at Cedar Point. It was lots of fun to see the kids go on their first roller coasters. As Cedar Point is usually considered the best roller coaster park in the world, we were much surprised to find that Reeve was tall enough to go on most of the roller coasters, including the world famous Millenium Force.

Being tall enough and being ready were two different things. After he got on the Blue Streak -- he was initially excited for his first roller coaster ride, but when his stomach went into his throat on the first dip, he decided he wasn't up for any more roller coasters -- at least not this year.

So, we had fun seeing some shows (Snoopy & Extreme Wheels 3-D), and going on several rides.

Reeve and Gabi weren't sure about the HUGE ferris wheel -- it was mighty high up! We had a great view from up high of the entire area -- so it was pretty fun!

Rania also got to go (with her mommy) on the Woodstock Express -- her first roller coaster ride. Then for several hours, we landed in Planet Snoopy -- where we went on a bunch of rides. That is where Gabi and Reeve discovered spinning. . .and spinning. . . and spinning . .and spinning. Then Tracy went with Gabi on the matterhorn -- plenty of fast around and around!

It was a lot of fun to see the kids go around and around, including the wide eyed looks of the youngest ones.

All in all, quite a fun day with cousins.

What a fun amusement park. It looks like you're having a great time in Ohio.
