A huge bean plant

As part of a science project, the students planted seeds. The seeds then turned into little plants in little cups.

But since Spring Break was approaching, the students brought home the little cups. The tiny bits of soil were planted next to our fence outside.

Two months, some tropical sunlight and plenty of rain -- WOW! We couldn't believe the size of the bean plant now!

Gabi sure learned some fun lessons about plants.

You know, that bean plant looks like it might even be in Malaysia. (I thought 'you all were in Toledo, Ohio! No news from there?!!!) - Dad
