A place called Bukit Antarabangsa

Well, here we are. Finally, on the other side of the world, the INTERNET. Ahhh......Don't you just love that word???? It's amazing what having limited access does to your skills at finding other things to do....

But now we can email with you and post to this website that probably no one is reading and and and oh yeah, order Pizza online because you can do that in KL too.:)

Our house is lovely. It has its quirks, like a few more bugs because no screens on the doors, but it is brand new and a LOT nicer than some of the crazy dumps we initially saw. I was like , "we have to live in sth. like these?" I almost cried with relief when we saw this place, with a playground in the back community area. It IS IN

BUKIT ANTARABANGSA. How about having to tell people this is where you live? Tests your tongue skills that is for sure. I am attaching pix of the kids at the HUGE Petronas Towers. Very cool. The hip and modern city is in stark contrast with poorer outlying areas. Quite crazy. Will write again later.

This picture is such a classic example of our lives. Someone's not looking, someone's unhappy, someone's telling someone to look ahead, etc. etc. It will be quite a trip we are undertaking with three preschoolers!

This is my first posting on this blog. The purpose is to keep our friends and family informed about the adventures and whereabouts of the Woodward family as we set out across the Ocean to discover new things and see what amazing sights and people are out there!



I wanted to get this started now so everyone could get comfortable with it, and if there were any questions, I could answer them and get you hooked up before we leave! Otherwise you might forget about us and think, "The Woodwards? What was their website? Oh, who cares, they're gone now anyway...". This way I can ask you on Sunday if you looked at it.:)



So, we are packing and getting everything in order for our travel date, which is, as many have asked, the morning of July 9th.



So, get this....we will be flying from Indy to Chicago (1 1/2 hours), from Chicago to Seoul (14 1/2 hours), and then Seoul to Kuala Lumpur (6 hours). So we need prayer! It will be a long trip, that is for sure. When asking my friend Brent about his trip to his wife's home in Australia with their 1 1/2 year old, he told me, after the difficulties of a 24 hour trip, the time change will just be icing on the cake!

I will blog again just before we go, or have Doug blog because his musings tend to be more interesting than mine....
