In the Office

 Pretty funny, as we were walking into the HR office on the first floor to see a framed picture. . .from Gabi's 1st or 2nd grade work.  

Guess that might have survived from the old campus - and ended up in this empty cubicle to add a bit of life and color.

Merry Swiftmas

 

Pretty fun as we were walking around KL and there was a Merry Swiftmas event in Sungei Wang, right adjacent to Lot 10.   There was quite a long line to get in and. . . .we weren't sure, but we presume listen together for a sing along of some of Taylor Swift's songs. 

There were some autographed items and memorabilia also available.

After Church

 After church, we took Mark to Yayoi, one of our favorite places.  Doug got a new meal - which involved a bit more logistics than is normal.

Mark and Doug took a tour of the school, including some pictures of Doug in his office, overlooking the field, and Tracy's classroom, among other things.

 

G7 KL Fieldtrip

 Doug went with the Grade 7 students on a field trip, enjoying so many great parts of central KL.  It is a beautiful city, and great to connect with the cultural identity of a diverse city.  Also fabulous that we can re-start more field trips, as it's been a few years since we've been able to take this field trip that goes back many years. 

At the moment, the second largest building in the world . . .thanks only to the large spire.

Mark Arrives!

 Pretty great to have Mark in town.  He's just wrapped up a conference in Manila and stopped over here in Kuala Lumpur. 

He got out of his taxi just as Doug was returning from work - just at the corner of Katana II. What a great surprise!

And no, Doug does not have a star that comes out of his head. 

Christmas Around the World

 The elementary school always does such a fabulous job of putting together Christmas Around the World.  the Melawati Theatre is truly transformed into quite a magical place for the enjoyment of all the ES students.

Hockey Game

 There are always so many D1 sports going on, it is great that Gabi and her friends can enjoy so many opportunities.  Here they are at a hockey game, possibly against University of Michigan.
