Banana Event

 This is one of those posts where Gabi will just laugh as dad puts a picture which Gabi has graciously given to put on the blog, when the author (dad), has very little clue of what is going on - other than some impressive banana costumes in the laundry room.

 

IASAS Dance

 Both a bit inspiring and sad to see the magic and beauty of IASAS dance with the recognition that our kids are all now graduated. 

Congrats - and at least we still have some posters sitting in our hallways from last year's events!

Belated Valentine's Day - Indulge

 For a belated Valentine's Day, Tracy and I went to the fancy Indulge theater.  We saw Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy sequel and got to have some good times together. 

 

Hallway Memories

 Still can't get over walking through the hallway and still seeing last year's IASAS dance crew and all that talent still in some of the places around school.  It is a great reminder of what a special place ISKL has been for our family. 

 

4 Nations NHL Faceoff Meal

 Gabi and her friends got to watch the Canada US match in the 4-Nations NHL faceoff in Montreal.  A bit of fun together with some hockey in the background makes for some good fun.  (FYI - the US won 3-1 to advance to the finals against Finland.)

 

Connections

 So fun, as always, to connect with other families and get together!  Aditi and her family also live in our condo - and though the girls are now off in university in Virginia and Chicago, we sometimes still get to cross paths.

 Always so great to see some spectacular views from the KL Skyline - including the magic of the clouds passing by. 

SEA Forensics Hardware

 Congratulations to several of Tracy's students for their impressive skills and hard work in coming up with some great results in Oral Interpretation from South East Asia (SEA) Forensics Tournament, which ISKL has hosted for several decades.

ISKL's Lion Dance

The annual lion dance is the only time our whole community comes together.  The MS kids were wild at the idea of the oranges being thrown - and the acrobatics were certainly impressive!

After, they visited the MS Office, including Mr. Casey getting to see them, and having a lion 'eating' the fruit on my desk. 

 

Tracy's Classroom

 They are continuing to remodel some areas, including where Tracy's old classroom was.  We stepped over a few construction materials to see the area. 

 

 

Visit to The Campus

With Reeve and Marilyn, we went to see the old ISKL campus, now 'The Campus' a shopping center and recreational area.  Quite a bit like stepping back in time - and quite a bit different. 

The field remains very similar. 

Reeve overlooking the old tech lab - and now the library area has been opened up and completely redone. 

The swimming pool and gyms look like a fair bit of flashbacks to older times.
