National Gallery

 In addition to walking around some of the area, several of the girls went to the National Gallery, getting to see Obama's portrait. 

 

London Sights

 Gabi is truly having an incredible semester and getting to see so much.  Here are some more pictures from her quick weekend in London.

 Of course, when you get together, there is never enough time, so the girls enjoyed an evening out together. 

 They also had a lot of fun getting to have the whole basement to themselves.

 Everyone went to see some of the spectacular lights - and bundled up to prepare for the cold.

 The girls got to go to the Georgetown area as well as on campus, seeing some of Arshiya's classrooms, spaces, and neighborhoods.

Six in London

 Meanwhile, across the pond, Gabi was enjoying a very different Thanksgiving, including theater opportunities from the West End. 

 She is spending a quick Thanksgiving in London with some friends. 

Thanksgiving!

 It was a very fun Thanksgiving celebration with everyone getting to celebrate together. Lots of fun and lots of laughter. 

 

Walking Around

 The girls bundled up and made their way to around town, getting to see some of the neighborhoods in the area, as well as seeing Wicked in the theaters. 

 

KL Thanksgiving

 Due to a professional learning conference, we celebrated Thanksgiving a day earlier than normal - with all the same fun and delicious food as the traditional event. 

 

Together

 Pretty exciting to have Sana from Boston, Aditi from UVA, Arshiya from Georgetown, and Rania from Chicago all coming together for a Thanksgiving celebration together. 

It was pretty funny for the girls to see the Woodward Family Calendar, complete with pictures of their former English teacher, on the refrigerator! 

Zacho gets a lot more attention, as well. 
 

DC Arrival!

 Pretty exciting for some of the KL group to be reuniting at Mark and Marta's for Thanksgiving.

Grandma was on hand to welcome Aditi and then both Aditi and Grandma were there when Rania arrived a bit later.  From there, it was up the Red line to Silver Spring. 
 

Putting Up the Tree

 It was a bit weird - being only the two of us - and we managed to get the Christmas tree up. 

 

Horse Memories

 We still have some things that we'll need to clean out - and getting the horses ready for sale - and trying the Want Ads to see if any might find another home is a first step of way too many things. 

 

Rafina Port Cleanup

 Gabi active in an Athens community cleanup work.  Good to be involved in some meaningful work while making connections with others.
