One of our favorite places on this planet must be the cabin at Manzanita. We're always so grateful for the chance to visit this little chunk of paradise - the cabin which Doug's dad's uncle built. It is a wonderful place and full of great memories. As we hadn't been there in 8 years, it was especially wonderful to reintroduce such a great spot to our kids.
The beach was glorious with a brisk wind that made it the Oregon Coast. We had fun walking along the beach and even made a trip back down to the beach in the evening for some attempts to throw the frisbee in the wind.
Some KL folks were not used to the chill!
