New Year's Eve

 Rania got to celebrate the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026 with her friends. 

 

Last Day of Year

 Celebrating some yummy dessert to enjoy the final day of the year. 

 

Hungry Tapir

 Really fun to connect as a family and get to have a delicious dinner at Hungry Tapir, one of our favorite places in KL.  It was a bit weird (and sad) that the art exhibit was closed for renovations. 

And fabulous that Sophia was able to join us for the meal. 

 

Food Court

 Gabi got to connect with some friends while also enjoying some food at the food court. 

 

With Friends

 So wonderful for so many of Rania's friends to be returning back - all on different timelines - and for the friend group to get to reconnect.  So cool that Sophia made it back to KL as well!

Dinner

 In addition to some of the other options (vegetarian), we ordered a huge steak to share - it was pretty impressive!

 We went to Horizon Grill for a special dinner together. Before the meal, we got some photos from the picturesque setting outside the restaurant. 

 

 

Afternoon

 For the afternoon on Christmas Day, we had some games, playing together, as well as getting the bigger dinner ready.  Yum!

 

Presents

 Wow!  So many presents - and fun to see the reactions and responses as everyone got the various presents.

Christmas Brunch

Christmas Day! Fun to be together as a family and get to celebrate Christmas.

 So delicious to get a great brunch, thanks to Tracy (and Gabi for the swedish tea rings). 

Bukit Bintang

After church, there was the big Sephora display just outside the Pavilion and Starhill. 

 

Sao Nam

 To celebrate the start of the break, we went to Sao Nam in Bukit Bintang, as well as getting some massages from the downtown venue. 

 

Alumni Gathering

 The annual alumni gathering was a really fun event.  Doug, as one of the administrators there, helped out at the bar, where there was also the 'wheel of luck' that got various ISKL merch prizes.  Getting the ISKL alumni shirt is definitely the top possibility!
