While in DC, we had lots of fun with cousins, and even managed to celebrate Tracy's birthday. Nzol and Marta snuck out with Gabi to get a surprise ice cream cake -- the surprise was a bit averted when Gabi whispered in mom's ear, "Shh, don't tell anyone, but we're going on a surprise to get you an ICE CREAM CAKE." Yes, quite the surprise.
So much for the wisdom of trusting 5 year olds with top secret info.
