We had quite a day at the National Zoo. It was nice and warm, and a definite highlight was the "tickle showers" that they had along the walkways. We had to say our goodbyes to Nzol, as she headed off to Norfolk on the Amtrack train (after a bit of an adventure in having to run back to the car to get a bag -- and then missing the panda exhibit).
We did see some pandas -- and as the picture illustrates (as well as the previous post of Micah's efforts to avoid pictures), getting pictures of the Woodward kids can be quite a challenge!

the panda looks real nice. i would have liked to have seen it. but i would have liked to have seen even more... a photo of the Woodward kids riding the panda.
