Unfortunately, we came outside and found our Volvo had a flat tire. Thankfully, the jack was quite handy, and I thought it would be quite a simple, easy fix. Alas, unfortunately due to all the rain, lesson #1 was learned: make sure you place the jack on a flat surface. The wet mud caused the jack to slip just as the spare was going on. Ouch.
I did manage to get some boards underneath and put the spare on. Lesson #2: make sure that the spare is good. Unfortunately by morning, the spare was flat.
Lesson #3: Be very thankful for an amazing mechanic, who came and took the spare on his motorbike to repair it so he could return it. Two new tires later, and we're in business.
