We had reservations at Robaix Lake - a beautiful US Forest Service campground in the Black Hills. With no mosquitos, no bears, no racoons, it may be an absolutely perfect campground option. We had reservations, but discovered that during the week it was not busy at all. We almost had the entire campground to ourselves. Perfect weather, too - and we found plenty of firewood from those who had left after the 4th of July.
