With our first full day in London, we made our way to Buckingham Palace and had the chance to witness the changing of the guard. Though it was cold, it was a clear, beautiful winter day. There were quite the crowds, but we managed to find spaces and get close enough to see the guards going in and out, witnessing the different parts of the process.
None of us realized just how long and involved the changing of the guard is!
