Our Grade 7 Math teacher, Ron Turner, runs "The Contest," and this is my inaugural season. So we had to get an apple, a ruler and the newspaper from May 22 and send it in. Ah, the challenges. Instead of buying the newspaper, I took the apple and the ruler into the store to take the picture and then put it back. That and other strange and unusual events make up the contest. Some of which involve way too much time wading through long YouTube video clips to find a specific section.
