Sand Dunes Trail

One of our favorite hikes at Oak Openings is the Sand Dunes Trail.  Three of the kids went along as we had fun digging a huge hole and playing a bit.  It is so beautiful to be outside in such a great setting while enjoying the relatively cooler weather. 

On the way back we found a small snake that was crossing the trail just in front of the girls.  Later we were all quite surprised by a scream.  Apparently a bug had landed causing a bit of a fright.
