 Wow.  Some incredible sights as Gabi and some of her friends are enjoying a trip through some sights in Europe.

On the way to Taipei.  It has been far too long in SE Asia for us not to have made the trip, so we are finally making our way to see Stacey & Erik.  An added perk is the lounge access thanks to the VentureX credit card. 

 

Early Halloween Dress-Up

 With October break coming, we are looking forward to some great time away.  In the meantime, today was Halloween Dress-up day with some really impressive costumes from the 8th grade team. 

 

Cookie Tasting

 Yes, sometimes my job as Assistant Principal requires some really difficult, challenging assignments.  In this case, I had to judge the cookies from the Cooking & Baking class to give my feedback.  Some incredible presentation to match some innovative designs - and all with a sweet dose of yumminess. 

 

Horizon Grill

 Thanks to the generosity of the teaching and learning office, we enjoyed a delicious steak meal from Horizon Grill at the top of the Banyan Tree hotel in Kuala Lumpur.  We enjoyed quite the spectacular view to accompany some really amazing food. 

Not surprisingly, we took quite a few pictures as the sunset dropped and it turned to evening.  It was a great temperature for eating outside and these are just a few of the wonderful pictures. 
 

Gabi

 I could pretend that I know where this is, but no idea.  Here is a picture of Gabi and a friend from somewhere in Europe, likely Greece, maybe near a cliff, or close to some caves.  To state the obvious, it is clear that you, the reader, could make up a much better caption than this jumbled mess of a few words. 

 

First Vote

 Rania successfully voted for the first time, sending in her absentee ballot from Chicago.  We'll hope for good news, in what could be a very close election. 

 

Mom's Night

 With several of the moms back in town, it was a fun get together for several of the mom's from Rania's friend group.  Lots of fun and laughter.
