Smithsonian - African-American History Museum

 We had never been to the National Museum of African American History and Culture at the Smithsonian - not getting tickets in advance or other reasons.  It was a delight to get to visit for the first time - and what an incredible museum. 

 

The Spectacular Yard

 Thanks to Marta's gardening and hard work, the front yard is definitely looking impressive. Wow!

 

Celebration!

 After the fabulous dinner of pizza, we had a chance to celebrate a special birthday! What a great day!

 

DC Arrival!

 Great to arrive and be reunited with Gabi (after about a week) and enjoy time together as a family.  Of course, Mark, Marta, Michael, and Micah had some impressive food for our dinner enjoyment. 

 

After Dinner

 After dinner, we went to Carrie's - with a very, very special gift of a photo album that had taken all of her mom's photos and divided them between the three kids, choosing the ones that were most relevant for Tracy.  What a treasure!

 A great opportunity to get together with the family and enjoy a dinner together.

 Gabi got to connect with her HS friend, Zoey, who is in Baltimore and spending the summer working there. 

 

Morning Walk

 One of the spectacular things about Ohio in the summer is enjoying the bike path.  A nice morning walk along the path to start a wonderful day!
