The Ceremony

 We did find a place away from water, according to the guidelines and moved a bit back into the brush to where we thought it would be a great place to scatter much of grandpa Ron's ashes - at least those that won't make it to Shangri-la lake.  

Everyone had a chance to share some favorite memories, which was filled with lots of different and special perspectives. 

We had several attempts at trying to get a group photo by placing the camera on a stable enough (and high enough) vantage point.  Not sure we were too successful in getting the right shot.

The presence of a bunch of dramatic duck rock structures at the location where we decided to have the meeting seemed like an especially fortunate and auspicious omen. Thanks for all you did for all of us, dad / grandpa.
