We got back in time for the deluxe Christmas dinner. It was a bit of a challenge having Christmas dinner with mom being in charge of Swedish tea rings or dad being in charge of the ham. Despite not having the monster big pan, the use of a strategically placed rock helped make sure that the ham was done in time. We managed pretty well - with Doug even making the extravagant layered dessert with chocolate chip mint ice cream, oreo cookies (except in the gluten-free version), fudge sauce, and whip cream. But the dinner will certainly be most remembered for the famous line, "Quick, move the ham so it isn't under the air conditioning!"
