I had the opportunity to join the Grade 4 workshare and hear some of the amazing work which Rania has done over the course of the year. What an impressive and fun event. Thanks for sharing a great year of learning.

Callan Farewell and Carpool Karaoke
What a fun (and sad) farewell to Michael Callan, as he goes off to Rome. Even though the video has limited viewing rights, it is a fun reminder for those who can access.

That and other strange and unusual events make up the contest. Some of which involve way too much time wading through long YouTube video clips to find a specific section.

Dimitra's Retirement Party
With Dimitra's retirement, the English department had a celebration and going away for her. Julie James, as always, was an amazing host and there were some really fun (and funny) stories told about Dimitra - including the fascination with Durian and trying to "smuggle" it to Europe.

Dining in the Dark
For Labor Day, and with a Sunday evening opportunity, we joined the Spandes, Bouwens, Pastor Bob & Daniella for a Dining in the Dark experience. What a great opportunity and amazing experience. It started with the introduction, where we tried to find paperclips hidden in rice while blindfolded, something that was surprisingly challenging. We were amazed at the pitch blackness of the restaurant and had the chance to taste and guess the flavors based on no visual cues whatsoever. With our waiter, who was blind, serving us, it was a tremendous opportunity to recognize the challenges that others face.
