Whitewater Rafting - Heading Out

Thanks to Nzol's advanced planning (and some help from GroupOn), we had a day of white water rafting on the Deschutes River.  We drove a couple of hours from SunRiver to get to the dropoff point and got all the safety briefings and all the gear as we got ready to head to jump in the rafts.  The boys (and Nzol and Mark) were in a raft with two other guys.  The rest of us, including Grandpa and Grandma were in the other raft.

Arrival in Sunriver

Grandpa and Grandma found a fabulous place in SunRiver, where we had the chance to enjoy some time together.  There was the opportunity for some puzzles, cards, and with the bicycles, there was lots to do exploring SunRiver.

Christmas in July - Presents

Thanks to grandpa and grandma's generosity, there were new towels for all the kids.

Plus, shirts from Kotzebue and Alaskan memories now that mom is back from North Pole, Alaska.

The Whole Family & Christmas in July

Now the whole family has arrived.

Tracy is working on her book.

The boys have the garage as an extra bedroom (thanks to Friendsview for the cots on loan as well as for the camping cots).

There was a stop at Voodoo Donuts as Tasha came back from the airport.

And Christmas Dinner, long prepared is a feast now that everyone is here.

Pokeman Go

As the Pokeman Go craze hits the US and moves from the biggest cities to all over America, the kids have been out and about finding Pokemans, which appear on their screen in the middle of the neighborhood.  

Oregon Coast

We made a day trip out to the Oregon Coast, had an epic soccer game, enjoyed the windy beach, visited Mo's and had a great experience together as a family.

Blueberries

Never have we seen so many blueberries.  We went to the McGee's blueberry farm and they let us pick many of the blueberries  - 77 pounds or something!  It was a monster haul of blueberries and Rania sure loved picking all the blueberries.  

Silver Spring Contingent Arrives

Good to have the whole family coming together.  With the Silver Spring Woodwards joining Eli, they are now complete.  We now have the boys in the garage and great to have the whole family together.

Portland Timbers

After a lovely dinner on the patio, we drove into Portland and enjoyed a Timbers Game.  Fun to have Eli and Reeve along, with a great game in one of the best sports atmospheres around.  We were a bit closer to the Timbers’ Army section this year, but still not quite as close as we might have liked.
