 So exciting to get to have Reeve and Marilyn here for championship Saturday.  What a glorious run with Michael van Cott scoring some ridiculous number like 44 in the final to carry the Panthers to the first championship in 40 years!

Dinner with Carl & Dan

 Always so inspiring to hear from some of the leaders in the educational industry.  With Carl and Dan here working with our teachers on writing and reading, Azra was kind enough to invite Peter, Michael and me out with them for a final meal.  Delicious food and a great time!

Whiplash in Temperature

 Rania is most definitely back in Chicago.  Not quite like the KL temperatures.  Glad she made it back for the next semester of her freshman year - and also glad she is staying warm! Brrrr!

Puzzle Done

 Nothing quite so discouraging as finishing a puzzle and having a piece missing.  Weird. 

And don't think that puzzle will be coming out again any time soon!

 

TRX Visit

 Rania's visit to KL wouldn't be complete without yet another trip to a mall.  TRX is truly impressive - and with the Chinese New Year decorations now up, we got to enjoy some of the sights, while also getting some Ramen (for those taking gluten at least).

 One of the coolest bookstores you will find - enjoying some time visiting RexKL! 

 

KL Downtown Tour

 We decided to take some time to spend downtown - something we often take for granted.  A bit of a walk along the confluence of the two rivers (Kuala Lumpur) and River of Life. Central Market, Merdeka Square and a great day together. 

Memories of time in quaratine - wild to stumble across that location that was such a different era.  WOW!

 Gabi made her way to Cyprus, courtesy of her fellowship.  With so many of her fellow students wrapping up their study abroad and many others starting it, what an incredible experience to get to be in Cyprus for her connection with this group of amazing students.   Truly beautiful!

 With some of Rania's friends still in town for the holiday, we got to get together and enjoy some fun.  Always a ton of laughter with this group!

 Rania's Christmas present of the 1000 piece puzzle of an impressionist painting in the train station is one of the more difficult puzzles we've encountered.

 A favorite place near the Hungry Tapir are some of the best street art in KL.  It is also a really great vibe and always fun to interact with the art.
