Diane's 50th

 Diane's 50th was quite an event.  So fun - and what a great evening together with lots of friends - and to see her very wide circle of friends and connections. 

We enjoyed some delicious food, lots of fun performances, and, of course, a cake and celebration for Diane. 

Testing

 Great that Reeve could take his exams remotely - such a privilege to have him here. 

ISKL Thanksgiving

 A wonderful tradition, the middle school hosts the all-school Thanksgiving celebration.  We've certainly grown (and outgrown) several spaces, so are enjoying some great times.  Having Rania with her friends - and Reeve and Marilyn here was such a treat.  Unfortunately, Tracy wasn't feeling very well, so she stayed home.

Chinese Food

 Gabi is spending Thanksgiving in Pittsburgh with Emi, her family and several others.  Some yummy Chinese food is in store for Wednesday evening.

Surprise!

 Amazing, as Reeve showed up to surprise us.  His semester in Auckland is not quite done, but the rest of his finals can be done remotely.  So, it was a surprise to have him arrive a few weeks earlier than we thought.  How fun!

Morning Beauty

 What a great view - and great way to start the week - from the MS balcony. 

With Taylor

 Rania and Doug had the chance to go see Taylor Swift's Eras Tour movie.  It sure is epic!  What a great, fun, community experience. It was also a lot more pricey than our normal movie tickets. . . which was a surprise. 

So amazing to realize that Rania (with her friends) will be able to see it live in Singapore in March.  Wow!

Fall

 Gabi with her friends at Notre Dame.  How magical to see the fall colors and leaves on the ground.  Those of us in KL are certainly jealous.

Stacey Visits!

How absolutely fabulous to have Stacey Johnsen here.  She is part of the coaching team for the Varsity Girls Basketball - and her daughter, Ella, is a key member of the team.  It is super fun to get to be with her, reconnect and be buoyed by such positivity and optimism. 

 

Goodbye NZ

 Not entirely sure of the dates of some of these pictures, though here are some of the final ones from Reeve's time in New Zealand. . .some of which were from closer to winter - in July or August - when it was colder. 

Nov Senior Treats

 

For November, the theme for the senior treats was, of course, Deepavali and Indian food. Yum!  What a fun time for the seniors, who got to enjoy more delicious food as part of this monthly routine.

Beach

 Reeve, with Marilyn and some friends, spent a day going to the beach.  Nice, as the weather is turning closer to summer.

Deepavali

 

Rania was invited, along with the families, for an amazing Indian meal, followed by some photos and small fireworks to celebrate Deepavali.  Thankfully, Rania was able to borrow some attire to be more culturally appropriate.
