Showing Cameron and Zion the School

 Reeve and Marilyn gave Cameron and Zion a tour of ISKL - at least the high school area.  There was some ping pong that was played - and though no instruction was given, they did hang out in Tracy's room for the photo. 

Khao Lak Departure

 

After breakfast, it was time for the drive to Phuket's Airport and a return to KL.  Though short, it was a great time in Thailand.

Dinner Pics

 After the short walk into town, we did find a place to eat and also did some shopping - including Gabi finding some woven bracelets (in Notre Dame colors) for her friends.  A fun gift to take back.

For our final night in Thailand, there was another characteristically stunning sunset.  Even though a few short days, it is great to get away.

Diving

 

With Reeve and Marilyn heading back to KL to meet Cameron and Zion, who are arriving, the girls and Doug went for two nearby dives.  It was near a wreck - and good to get two dives in.  Lots of fish - though certainly a longer ride (both vehicle and boat) than anticipated, as the jetty is a fair bit south of Khao Lak.

 After our photo shoot, we headed into town for a chance to get some food and enjoy time together.

 A pretty amazing sunset result in some attempts at some sunset photos with the family.

 With everyone together in such an idyllic setting, we tried to catch a few family pictures. 

And a bit of silliness by the end.

Beach Lounging

 Nothing is too terrible when you have a good book, some shade (at least for Doug), and a stunning view of the beach. 

A fast-paced beach read is also a nice addition.

Khao Lake Arrival

 We were delighted to arrive in our hotel where we were staying.  Beautiful lights in the evening, easy to walk around and find restaurants - and who can complain with fresh coconut juice by the beach.

Getting Ready for Diving

 We were a bit late in seeing if we could do some diving - so we only found a day when Marilyn and Reeve would need to be returning.  But we did manage to find the dive center where we'd booked - and get set up for gear to secure our place for a dive in a few days.

Travel

 We made our way from KL to Phuket and then to Khao Lak for a few days of vacation to wrap up the year.

Stockings For All

 We're thankful - and always fun - to have a stocking for all of us.  Pretty impressive given that Gabi's stocking was ready for her first Christmas, when she was only two weeks old - and she fit in her stocking.  

Not so much any more :)

Christmas Morning!

 

There were lots of presents and lots of fun opening them, giving them, laughing together, as we spent Christmas morning together as a family.

Celebrating

 

We exchanged a few gifts on Christmas Eve - especially fun as Marilyn was here with our family.  So thankful for the unspeakable gift of Christ's birth, as well as so much gratitude for the blessings of all that we have.
