Air Asia Return

 

Don Mueang Airport isn't too bad of a place to depart from.  Even a stop at Dairy Queen can be a treat if we get to the airport early enough.

Final Breakfast

 Not surprisingly, the breakfast and food options are pretty enjoyable - also great to have the veranda and a patio overlooking the river for the morning breakfast.  

Rania and Tracy can also wait until after the ELC sessions start in order to have a more relaxed breakfast.

We had a delightful meal, compliments of Mr. Madani, enjoying some good food and plenty of entertainment as a chance to enjoy an evening together.

BKK Arrival for ELC 2022

For the last part of October break, we enjoyed a trip to Bangkok for the EARCOS Leadership Conference 2022.

Great to have this tradition re-starting, with the quality professional development (for Doug) and some relaxation and enjoyment for Tracy and Rania in Bangkok.

Oct Break

We're grateful for the good friends (and her roommate) that she's made at Notre Dame.  Josie generously invited her to the Chicago area for October break.  Here is a picture that we got from her.
 

Wow Colors!

 Pretty spectacular to get pictures of the autumn colors on campus.  Pretty impressive location - and great to hear how much Gabi is enjoying her first semester.

This is also before the game v Stanford, where the Irish suffered a frustrating upset.

Congrats!

 After the show, there were so many opportunities to congratulate the cast and crew and to get pictures from the final night of a fabulous performance.  Wow!

Flowers

 Rania helped coordinate getting some of the flowers for the tech crew, the directors, and all who were involved in making it a success. 

They waited in Doug's office before the delivery time to the stage. 

Friday Morning

 A beautiful sky on a beautiful morning.  So much to be thankful for. 

The Show!

 Wow, wonderful to get to watch The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe.  With the shows moved up a bit due to the GAP departures, the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday showings allow for some fabulous theatre.  

What a performance! And the marketing materials outside are exceptional - and so cool.

Little Farm on the Hill

 We went to the Little Farm on the Hill to celebrate Rami and Anthea's wedding.  It was a pretty special event in a beautiful setting.  Of course, the food, from farm to table is absolutely amazing.  Wow! 

Also, wonderful to be reminded how easy it is to get out of the city and into the countryside. 

Departures

 Part of the magic of IASAS is to allow for the students to be able to connect with others.  Great to host Sydney and three other JIS athletes.  With Sunday comes the return trip for those who came.
