With Friends

 Quite the view, as Tracy got to enjoy some time with Jen (and friends). 

Almost There

 Great to finally be to the end of quarantine!  Not much else to say. 

Typical Day

We're getting closer to the end. . .which we weren't sure would ever come at the beginning, but does pass quite quickly when there is some routine, some school session preparation, and not a lot to do.  Here is a typical meal - they've been pretty good - and again, the view we see for long hours of the day. Bringing some good books (and a few snacks) have also been helpful.

 

Surprise!

 What an incredible surprise to have the hotel give us an anniversary cake!  As they just heard about our anniversary yesterday, they delivered a special gift to our room to celebrate.  How incredibly thoughtful and kind. 

Anniversary!

 We celebrated our anniversary in a memorable way. . .first, we decided to order Indian food as a treat.  Unfortunately, it didn't arrive in time for when delivery to rooms is managed by the hotel; thankfully, the hotel was super, super accommodating of the delay and recognized our anniversary and gave us a pass - delivering it when they had a chance.  Nice to have a break from the delivered hotel food, even though it has been good. 

The highlight, though, were some absolutely hilarious skits and re-enactments of some favorite Woodward memories - at least through the eyes of our daughters.  SO FUNNY!

Out of our Rooms!

 We got to leave our rooms, if only briefly, for the obligatory covid test - this one was the least comfortable of all with some aggressive nose checking.  Yuck. 

Passing Time

There is plenty of time to watch. . .the relatively sparsely populated streets.  Not much traffic and not too much happening.
 

Hanging out & Olympics

Typical view on another day in our room - lots of chances to watch shows, hang out, do some work, prepare for school. . . Gabi even has an interview with Claremont McKenna arranged for this week.

Having many Olympic events streamed on the Malaysian coverage has been a highlight for long hours in our room.
