Thanksgiving

Certainly 2020 has been quite the year, and yet we are so thankful for so much.  What a blessing to get to be together with family and lots of time we get to spend together, especially with CMCO continuing.

Delicious food.  Yum!

Even the dessert and pie is sure delicious. . . though Gabi sure has a huge knife.

The most popular non-verbal move (not) from dear mother :) (not-so-subtly tucking the hair behind the ear.
 

NC Fun and Beaches

 

So fabulous that Reeve gets to hang out with Grandma and the Woodwards, with a beautiful NC beach house, as well as the chance to spend time together. . .including a visit to a local state park. 

Can't complain about beautiful sunsets, which is funny given the strange topography of North Carolina. 

Can never complain when beach volleyball is part of the fun.

NC Arrival

 With Case shutting down from just before Thanksgiving until the end of a newly formed J-term, we are SO grateful for Reeve getting to hang out with the Silver Spring (now North Carolina) Woodwards. 

Reeve met Grandma en route from Ohio and got to arrive in the Wilmington airport before heading to the North Carolina beach house where everyone is staying for the month.  FUN!

It is always nice to be seeing the clear skies and school view. . .which we take for granted since we went back online last month.  Nice to get to be back on campus, if only briefly to collect some things. 
 

Finally

After waking up throughout many of the past dates, constantly refreshing the updates, what a joy and answer to prayer to see the numbers flip in Georgia with Pennsylvania nearly inevitably to be next.  

Pray for sanity and truth in our nation in the days, months, and years to come. 

Truly, what an emotional roller coaster of the past months and years.
