Happy Thanksgiving!

Due to a number of events on campus (the Dance Exchange), we had to have our Thanksgiving celebration on a weekend.  A bit unusual - and a good chance to celebrate with Turkey and the beautiful 4th floor area as our place to host.  What a great tradition - and now it is open to all of ISKL, not just the middle school.

Gabi got to go to her first big concert - a fun event with two friends in KL - with Charlie Puth performing in town.  Wow!  A super fun event for Gabi (and all other concert goers)!

The MS Musical

So wonderful to have The Magic Begins to be able to start.  And wonderful to see Rania as one of the members of the huge (100+) cast and supporting teams.   So spectacular to see so many MS students involved in this fun event.  And wonderful for Mr. Bruce to write the musical himself in order to include as many MS students as possible.

Palko Mania

Nothing quite like the Palko - fest 60th birthday.  Let's just say it was certainly memorable - and good to have Karen actually have to participate - and not just tell us what to do! 

International Fest

 International Fest involved some fireworks - that is quite the new campus celebration - which we were able to see from our balcony!  And the Jungle (the MS/HS Gym) was full of all the bouncy house toys and fun.  A great tradition in a new venue (our new campus). 

International Fest Flag Parade

A fun tradition - the International Fest Flag Parade from the elementary school is now at the new campus - and fun to see the use of the amphitheater for this event.

Let's just say, I definitely have too many ties.  So why not make sure that I at least wear every tie once.  So, starting today, I am posting a picture of a picture of myself as I wear one different tie each day.  We'll see how long it goes.

The Magic Begins

So excited for The Magic Begins to get to debut in the Melawati Theatre.  Should be a fabulous chance to start the ISKL Ampang Hilir Campus.  Wow! Will be a great event. 

Meme Day

For the MS Spirit Week, it is Meme Day - and Doug's McKayla Maroney is not impressed meme was the theme of the day for Doug.   Silver Medal not quite good enough, I guess.  What else can I not be impressed by during this day?

Gabi's GAP

Gabi was enjoying her first GAP trip - in Sri Lanka.  Some truly picturesque sights and great visits from her time there.  What stunning spices pictured above.

And a fun time with service projects painting a local school.

Even a chance for some surfing lessons at the beach.
