GAP - ReRouted

 Reeve's GAP trip was quite unexpected - as the trip changed on the way to the airport, with the vendor cancelling as a result of the typhoon showing up in the Philippines. 

After a couple of days of trying to figure out options, the Rawa Trip became the backup - much shorter, much closer - and still a fun chance for the family to get some good experience and a bit of diving.  So, so glad that the trip was at least partially salvaged. 

ISKL Legend

Always wonderful to celebrate the milestones in our lives - and certainly, Karen Palko, the ISKL Legend, is about as wonderful as can be - and fun to help celebrate the big six-zero.  Of course, the big celebration is on the weekend, good to also celebrate at school. 

Halloween Haul

One of the fun things about living in Malaysia - or at least ISKL, is that the parents decide the best day for Halloween - somewhat funny  - and better for learning and the balance with sugar consumption.  So Rania enjoyed some Halloween fun with her friends. 

Weekend Workshop

What a privilege to get to work with the fabulous Kendall Zoller and The Choreography of Presenting with a weekend workshop at ISKL.  Beautiful skies and a nice to get some opportunities to interact with the other participants.  So much learning during this weekend!

Informance

Great for Rania and her friends - and all those in Music - to get to share their learning as part of the annual informance.  Rather than a performance that shows the polished peace, this short evening provides a glimpse in the educational benefits and educational program of our music classes.  Always a great evening.

And plus, what a fabulous view of sunset at the same time. 

Rania's Health Homework

For health class, Rania's homework and project is to design and then cook a meal for her family.  So we get to enjoy Rania's cooking with some yummy chili.  As a family, we really, really enjoy getting this type of homework - sure is a whole lot tastier than an essay, right?

Sliding in the Hallway

Never know what fun might take place in the Woodward household on a given evening.  Reeve is showing off the smooth wood floors - and how far he can slide in his socks as he glides down the hallway. 

Rania's Team

What a fun day playing soccer and enjoying a tournament and a bunch of games.  Rania's team is really coming together and getting some good success.  Fun to watch the Panthers and cheer them on. 

Art Work

What an absolute treat to have Emily wrap up the middle-school-commissioned art work.  Scrolling back in our blog, you can see some of the inspiration from the impressionist paintings at the Toledo Art Museum.  Wow!  What talent  and hopefully, it will soon be hanging in my office!

Under the Lights

Great to get to watch some soccer games and cheer on Reeve and the Panthers under the lights. 

School Life

So many beautiful mornings - and the view on the daily walk to school - and you never know what Janet will have in her storage closet - something for everyone, for sure!
