Stalls Night

One of the fun celebrations of the new campus is transitioning Stalls Night, an annual tradition, to the new campus.  We had some special performances to help commemorate the opening of school - and some impressive watermelon carvings.

The Joys of The New Campus

Fun to see some of the spectacular places and spaces being used for student learning.  With the fields still being worked on, the stunning 50m pool is getting some fabulous use for our PE classes. 

Grade 6 also gets ready for their annual picture - in a new setting.

The MS Team

With the start of school, what a privilege to work with such a fabulous team in the MS Office!  So blessed to have such incredible colleagues and impressive support.

The Campus Tour

We took the kids - or at least the girls - over to see the campus for the first time.  Fun to see some of their initial reactions to the new ISKL home.  We also got to see the Legacy plaque which we got for the new campus. 

Fun to also take Juvy to the new campus.  

Last of Summer

While the parents are busy getting ready for school, the kids get to enjoy fun times with friends and a chance at some photos with friends. . .or at least that is what the adults think might be happening. 

MS Office

Fun to see the school coming together with more and more of the artwork getting on the walls.  The MS Office is starting to come together nicely. 

Good to see the student-created artwork at the main reception area - and some of the themes that spread through the campus looking consistent.  

Flying

It is time for the rest of the Woodwards to say goodbye to summer and take the long flight back to the our home in KL.  Quite the challenges and quite the opportunities.  We will be excited to see what the coming school year will provide. 

Goodbye Ampang; Hello, Hillir!

Pretty crazy to see the last bits of the move - and see where we are at.  A bit amazing to see all the progress since I left about a month ago at the end of June - and certainly a lot of work to do in the final two weeks before school starts.  What an exciting chapter in ISKL's history!

House Searching

Just after we had left for the summer, we got word that our wonderful home for the last six years, the DeHarts fabulous place, had been sold.  So immediately upon returning to KL, it was time for some house hunting.  Can we find some good options relatively close to school?  Sure would be fabulous.  Here is one possibility (that would - about 45 days later -  be confirmed as the view from our balcony).
