Sunset Point

The pizza and delightful evening at sunset point was a good way to wrap up our final evening.  We tried some night photography - with mixed success as you can see below - and enjoyed a final evening together on Tioman Island.

Hanging Out

For the final afternoon before returning home the next day, we had the chance to chill, and enjoy a quiet afternoon.  The favorite swing near where we were staying was popular.  Delicious food - and Gabi's artistic shots - are always nice.  And nice treats to wrap up a fun time. 

Wrapping Up The Diving

We wrapped up our diving on another beautiful, clear, calm day - making our way back to the dive center.  We thanked, Justin, our dive master and instructor and had the privilege of getting to enjoy a final time around the dive area. 

The Accidental Picture

I really think this picture, as we were surfacing, was an accidental click of the shutter.  Somehow, I really like it.  Great colors and bizarre perspective.  Perhaps this just shows how much I have to learn as a photographer!

On the Water

We had lunch between the two dives - and a picturesque setting.  Great to get to relax and the second dive, obviously, was shallower and some really, really impressive color, fish and sights. 

 Rania worked on color identification (or was it fish identification) for this final certification dive. 

A Boat Dive!

We were able to get a spot on one of the boats heading out and definitely had some beautiful dives.  Fan Canyon was our deep water dive - and quite a beautiful setting, of course.

Sunset & Night Dive

As part of the advanced course for Rania, we included a night dive - always an incredible experience and a great chance for the girls and dad to be together for a very memorable weekend.

A beautiful sunset always makes for good reminders of the beauty of the natural world, as well.

Sisters!

Sisters!  Always a good chance when on a tropical island to get some good photos in - the girls sure had fun with a swing near where we were staying - and enjoyed taking some pictures and a delightful time together.  Certainly simple accommodations - though fun!

A Morning Dive

Beauty of diving. Great to enjoy the calm waters and be underwater in such a spectacular setting.

Nice morning dive as we had the chance to see if we could complete the requirements for the advanced course and get everything in, while juggling the demands of the dive masters and a busy holiday weekend.

The girls are doing great - and so impressive to see Gabi's buoyancy after her time in Redang.  Quite a skilled diver - and Rania is catching up quickly. 

What a sunset!

Wrapping up a great first day in Tioman, we were treated to quite the beautiful light display in the western sky.    Probably better to just let one picture stand by itself - but with so many that are great, which one do you like best?  . . .and sometimes you never know whether you need portrait or landscape, right?

Returning from the Dive

Great to be able to have a nice long (and pretty shallow) first dive with the opportunity to come up and see the spectacular beauty of Tioman.  With the lush rainforest set against the tropical seas, it is truly picturesque.
