Goodbyes

Always a bit sad to say goodbye, though we are so, so, so grateful for the time spent together.  A final trip to get some wonderful keepsakes and gifts for back home had to include Peter Ho's. 

What a thrill to be able to have family here and get to share some fun memories during our time together - and our Spring Breaks aligning!

Family Photos

Since it becomes rarer and rarer to get any real family pictures - good to take advantage of the chance to capture some family photos as we say goodbye to Club Med and begin to wind down our Spring Break.

Goodbyes

It was cool that the kids connected with some of the other people at the Club - including some ISKL students also on Spring Break.  Time to say 'goodbye' - longer for some, though back to school on Monday. 

Monitor LIzards and Nature

So great to see the blue skies, beautiful beach, and also the weird creatures that are monitor lizards - which are quite prevalent and frequently seen all around Malaysia.  Sad to say goodbye, and also blessed to get to experience such a great break. 

Singing

It is great to see the wide variety of events as part of Club Med, with the final day, we are able to pack-up, and wait for late check out and get to enjoy Club Med until 3 pm.   As part of that, Laura got to do a bit of live signing and enjoy some fun musical opportunities.

 WOW!  So fun to watch the girls get to do catch on the Trapeze. 

Enjoying the Pool

The Zen Pool (adults only) is a favorite place and what a delightful setting to enjoy a fabulous book.  With the all-you-can-enjoy drinks right there, it also makes for some good times and enjoyable opportunity to take in the beauty and truly feel in vacation mode.

More Trapeze

We had a chance for some of the morning trapeze practice in order to (hopefully) get to do catch in the afternoon, weather-permitting.  Good fun and beautiful warm weather just before lunch.

A Special Celebration

Wow, getting to be in a special place - Club Med for a special celebration and being all together with family is a great and unique way to celebrate a really, really special day!  Congratulations to a really amazing girl. 

Trapeze

One of the highlights for the girls is getting to do Trapeze - and learn from the instructors.  Some pretty impressive skills as they accumulate and improve each day.  With this day having some good weather, it was fun to get a few swings in.  Where else in the world do you get to pretend you are working as a trapeze artist?

Enjoying the Beach

The beach and the Zen pool are great spots and delightful to get to enjoy our first full day together on an especially special day.

The evening shows are always unique - and capturing the Trapeze Show on the first night is a highlight.  What talent and artistry set over the pool as these athletes demonstrate their skills while set to music.

Welcome to Club Med!

Club Med!  Wow.  What a treat to head for a few days to Club Med Cherating as we celebrated Spring Break.  When it is a relatively easy drive and there is no airfare, it makes for a much more manageable and delightful treat.  The all-inclusive nature and the incredible food are an extra luxury which we certainly enjoy!

It was also fortunate to have the Unser - so that when we had surprise car problems with the Suzuki, we had a reliable way to get there - and all in one car for the fun journey together.
