Natasha Stays

Since she came all the way up for Rania's birthday, it was great to have Natasha here for an extra day.  So fun to reconnect with a great friend.

SkyTrex

We piled into both cars and took all the girls to SkyTrex for really fun day on their high ropes course.  What an adventure - and some significant challenges that will test the best of the those.  All the girls (and dad) did great.  Gabi was even able to invite Yassmin, as we ended up with one extra ticket due to cancellations.

An Epic Birthday Celebration

With lots of friends and Natasha coming up from Johor, it was a whole lot of wonderful 5th grade girls who were enjoying some time together.  Fun!  Though the birthday had past, with Malaysia Week and busy weekends, this was the date we were able to find to celebrate. . .and get reservations at SkyTrex (see next post).

Malaysia Week

Gabi was in Perhentian, where she was able to get her final dive certification (Fish ID) completed and processed so that she, too, could be an advanced diver.  Doug was diving in Redang - what incredible, amazing beauty.  From the great diving, to the incredible photography by the instructors to the breath-taking beauty of the sunrises, it is an amazing country.

A New Phone

Based on our Tech Director, Dave Neudorf's recommendation and the best value for the money, Reeve with the Lenovo Vibe S1 for his first phone.  Seprian, our information systems expert loves the phone and speaks highly of it. 

. . .and it arrived!  Exciting times as our firstborn gets a phone.

He is Risen!

As the kids get older, the easter egg hunts are not quite as glamorous, but the power of the Risen Lord and the resurrection remains timeless. Happy Easter!

A Birthday Celebration!

It was a great day to celebrate an amazing young man's birthday. Perhaps most exciting for Reeve, money that goes toward his own phone (and permission to purchase it!)

Who is taller?

Wow!  A monumental day in our family, as it sure looks like Gabi is every bit as tall as her mother!  What a milestone!

ISKL Celebrates - PTA Event

Doug was asked to host the PTA sponsored ISKL Celebrates, which was a masquerade theme.  Being the auctioneer was a first - and the master of ceremonies is always a challenge. 

A fun evening with a chance to raise some funds for school-sponsored events.
