Not sure this panorama accurately captures the typical work set-up for Doug as he gets ready for the next day of work. Trying to be ergonomically responsible, at least!

Dalat Double-header
With Reeve on Varsity, he continues to improve. Dalat came south for a double-header and they had the chance to play a couple of games against these rivals from the north. Unfortunately, with a young team, ISKL came up short, but continued to improve and work to get better. One game on Friday and the next on Saturday, it was some good preparation for IASAS.

Ice Skating at Westfield
Since it was winter, why not try some ice skating at a nearby mall. It was certainly busy. It was also certainly cold (at least outside). So while Doug held the coats, there was a chance to do some ice skating during the interval for which we signed up.
Family Picture Attempt
Okay, so it was yet another try at a family picture as we were overlooking some of the nice views in the area. Not quite sure we got the classic from this trip, but worth a try. This might be as close as we get.

Stonehenge
What an experience to get to see Stonehenge. We briefly toyed with just driving by, as you can see it from the road, but it was well worth it to walk around and witness the sights. It was a bitterly cold (at least for us tropical kiddos) winter day, but we really enjoyed seeing such a fascinating place in the middle of of the countryside.
We also had quite the bizarre way to get there, based on Waze's directions, taking us directly south, through some very tiny, narrow one-lane roads and obscure villages, which was determined to be the best route.

Goodbye Cotswolds
In the morning, it was time to say "goodbye to the Cotswolds and get in our rental car heading back to London. We thought we could swing by Stonehenge, a bit out of the way, but a potential once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
We were surprised to find the frost and a good layer of ice on the car. Let's just say we weren't well equipped for all of the ice - so thank goodness for old credit cards to help with getting into the car.

A Quiet New Year's Day
We had a quiet New Year's Day around the house. With many things closed, it was a great time to read books by the fire, set up some dominoes, play some games and enjoy a quiet day.
